I'd rather spend around 200 bucks, but i'm willing to spend a little more if it's worth it. I'm tired of not having a watch. Thanks for the suggestions...

Something with a metal band. I really like the Seiko Kinetic Chronographs, but they're a bit out of my budget.

I say get a Fossil - there's nothing more frivolous to spend your money on than a freakin expensive watch when a cheaper one will do the same damned thing.

Get a nice automatic - stylish, and never out of fashion, not to mention you'll never need batteries.

Seiko, Citizen, Fortis, Fossil, etc. Not many good watches at that price range.

No sh|t. People aren't going to think you're any cooler because you have some expensive hunk of bling on your wrist. There are plenty of reasonably priced watches that tell time just fine. But it's your money, so piss it away how you see fit, Big Baller!!

I don't really give a sh!t what people think of my watch. I want something that I can live with, since it's going to be on my wrist for most of the day. I've already looked into Fossil, but nothing has really caught my eye. I'm open to any and all suggestions.

seiko makes nice watches, you could probably go under $200 and still make out quite well.

You guys are all materialistic people that only care what other people think of you. I don't even wear a real 'watch'. Instead if have a wall clock that I tie to my arm with some rope. From a distance it might look like I'm wearing a shield on my arm, but I don't care what others think. As long as I have enough money to buy the latest video card and can reside in the darkness of my parent's basement while I'm playing the latest and greatest video game at the best graphics settings, I'll be happy.

A wall clock?

Wimp! I have one of those 50's cat clocks that I DUCT TAPE to my arm! Taking it off at night stings, but I deal.

A watch is more than a timepiece, it can also be a part of your attire as much as your shoes, shirt, pants, etc.

Citizen NaviHawk. Official watch of the Blue Angels. It's sweet.

Except I broke my band so I'm currently wearing a $8 watch from KMart.

fossil=cheap chinese CRAP. I would avoid.

If I was forced to buy in that price range I would probably but a citizen eco-drive, or a seiko automatic.

My favorite watch is a seiko skx421k. Simple, clean, yet elegant.
