Wouldn't it be easier to make a list of politicians who were not corrupt? Probably shorter :p

US history? How about Ulysses Grant? I don't recall if he was corrupt, or if his gov't was corrupt.

I know my definition is not the right definition, I just mean truly terrible people who ran countries. I shouldn't have used the word corrupt.

I think Hitler and Saddam go a bit beyond "corrupt."

When I think "corrupt," I think Boss Tweed, Huey Long, William Jefferson ;)

Start with a list of all politicians throughout recorded history. Check off the ones who are clean. If you check off even one name, read up some more so that you don't make the same mistake again.

IMO calling people like Stalin and Hitler "corrupt" politicans is silly. The term "corrupt" is used for politicans who take bribes or play favourites, it does not nearly convey the sort of attrocoties commited by these people. Also, like many have said finding corrupt polliticians aint exactly a hard endevour, if you want a list of histories most destructive dictators than ask for that, but plz don't try listing people like Hitler in the same list as those who take money under the table is completely ludicrus.
