I accidentally clicked on a link that went to the below HTML code which after it loads claims to be a virus, is it? no warnings from the av software and the scan comes back clean. HELP am i screwed?

It's probably a scam to try to get you to click on something, which will then download something else.

Basically, if you keep your scanner up-to-date and perform a full system scan once every couple of weeks, you should be fine.

Haha, what a load of crap. "You have just had your *** ****** by Crankers Team". ROFL.

I especially like all the faux system messages in courier font. Brilliant!

Yes, web pages can contaminate your computer. It's not common, but it has happened.

The recent WMF exploit did just that, with no interaction from the user. Browse the page and ZAP! The WMF exploits did various things, including loading trojans and adware.

the java part was what actually scared me the html part i knew was fake. the java code is the part i know nothing about and worried me.
