Can an Epox EP-8RDA+ NForce II board run Barton?

I am planning to buy an Epox EP-8RDA+ Nforice II motherboard from newegg due to its cheap cost and good reviews. It should be able to run Barton no sweat, right?

If not, which NForce II motherboards run Barton? I ain't particular but would like to have the upgrade potential down the road.

Thanks alot.

did you by any chance have another CPU before the 2500+?
i was wondering how a 2400 or something would compare.. just curious.

No, I built the rig from scratch. My old comp had a junky celery so the new rig is like night and day.

On a side note, to the 8rda+ builder, I had some probs with the board until I updated to the new bios. Definately, do this right away to save some headaches.

I have a Soltek SL-75FRN2-L coming that I am probably pairing with a 2500+ Barton core 🙂 I hope the Soltek has a good BIOS right out of the box..

thanks man.
