Has anoone acheived knighthood yet?

This is racist becuase from the whole of the former british empire Ive only heard of Australians, and West Indians getting knighted recently? What gives? No indians Pakis, Zimambwians? ??? I know its a small issue but still!!!!

I think there are two flavors of knighhood. The honorary BS knighthood that anyone can get, and then the real deal that only a vritish citizen can achieve.

Well, I don't know exactly how one goes about refusing the knighthood, but I do believe it is somewhere in the constitution or amendmends that US citizens cannot have any title of royalty.

He can accept the knighthood, he just can't call himself Sir Gates. And he can also put KBE at the end of his name.

You can be nighted, but you only get called Sir if you are British.

Surely you havent heard of Sir Vivian Richard (West Indian) or Sir Richard Hadlee (New Zealand)

Or Sir Jack Ryan (USA)

bingo, you just cant have the title i believe. Although i believe exceptions have been made for individuals who've held the title prior to applying for us citizenship.. *shrugs* don't remember specifically.

And why the fvck does the fuedal system still exist? Some laws have to get passed through the house of lords!!! such backwardness!!

It is really just a honorary title these days. They don't give you a castle and serfs to go with it anymore.
