Just checking I know some countries don't allow noncitizens to own land. Also what can you tell me about the stuart lake region of BC.

<< We only allow you land in Yukon and NWT, the cold territories 😉 >>

Well I wouldn't mind that, as I've been in the Yukon on my way to Fairbanks. Haines Junction struck me as a nice place to live as they have a great bakery.

yeah there was a huge story on americans buying land in BC cuz with the dollar being so low it was pretty affordable

Are you kidding? With the strong US dollar Americans with even a little bit of cash (relatively speaking) are buying up everything in site in Vancouver and especially in Whistler. Every time i'm in Whistler I see Americans gleefully buying up every condo and lot in site. Heck, if it was that cheap for me i'd do it too. Put it this way, from a pure dollar value with nothing else factored in - you are getting a 50 percent discount on real estate.

You sure can.......... as a matter of fact, I've got this bridge you may want to take a look at 😉

Just remember if you stay in Canada for over 183 day then you will be considered under Canadian law a resident & you must pay Canadian taxes 😀 (one of the only things I actually remember from tax class 😀 )

Cheers,
Aquaman
