With few exceptions, all mammals can swim. The most notable exception is most monkeys and apes.

BTW, all humans instictively know how to swim at birth, but the instincts are forgotten if not maintained.

Contradictory statement. All mammals cannot swim, according to that statement.

Probably because we don't walk the same way as four legged mammals. They just use their walking motion, and it propels them ( I assume).

The instinct in humans you are referring to is the dive reflex, which is not the same as swimming. A newborn infant will instinctively head to the surface if submerged in water.

They can't swim though.
