Whoa - that looks like way more than I need and I am not sure I could ever get that installed correctly.

Looks liek there is both a pc side and phone side that have to be installed.
Done.
Doesn't work.
Do I need to set up the Foobar200 ip?

That was the standard recomendation here years ago after winAmp.
I suppose there could be a new king.

If you use Winamp, then there is an app called Lazik+ that controls is beautifully with almost no setup required.

For some reason its not on the android market anymore. No clue why.

Edit: Apparently it and almost all other winamp controllers were removed for trademark infringement a while back. That stinks. Awesome app that I use all the time.

I haven't tried it, but in some quick googling I found mention of that and it's free so you might as well give it a go.

Unified remote is exceptionally easy to install. Install on pcand android device and if the server is running it will auto connect and that's it.

The general media controls should work fine with foobar.
