Can a mod explain why my thread was locked?

I started a survey do get a breakdown as far as what kind of member you are..the percentages of elite, lifers, diamonds..etc..

It was locked a couple minutes after it was posted.

I have looked at the FAQ's and see absolutely nothing wrong with this survey..I'm curious as to the percentages and I'm sure other members are as well

It was probably locked because the mods tend to discourage posts about user ratings. Such posts seem to encourage neffing and competition between members as to who can get higher post counts.

That could be why, but I would think neffers would neff anyway regardless.

I like stats and stuff that's why I'm curious

To extent, that's true, but nef threads seem to bring on neffing frenzies, in much the same way that reef sharks will feed regardless, but drop some bait in the water and watch a frenzy start.
