can a "Mac Edition" video card be used in a pc?

i know that ati has a 'mac edition' line of video cards..

but i'm curious if theres really anything different between the two?

ive always wondered this too. this is probably the only major reason why i will never get an apple computer.

the video cards (for the most part) stink, unless you get the powermac G5s and they have a 6600/7800GT in them.

They have a different bios, you could probably flash them to work in a PC, but if they have any additional Mac only features, those won't work with the PC bios.
