In other words, can www.ThisURL.com be forwarded to www.Page.AnotherURL.com?

Also, why are some subdomains put in front of the top-level domain and others put after the top-level domain. For example: forums.anandtech.com versus TOPLEVEL.com/forums ?

Thanks for the education!

Yes it's possible but it depends on what control panel software you are using. For instance I have a resellers account with WHM/CP 5.3 and can do domain parking with a click of a button, a fewstrokes and I'm done.

For more information on domain parking I would check out WebHostingTalk.com

If I had forums I would prefer the former

forums.mydomain.com rather than www.mydomain.com/forums

toplevel.com/forums would be a directory, not a sub domain.

yes you can foward a top level domain to a subdomain. firingsquad.com is an example.
