For New Years Eve, we decided we would go to our favorite camp site up on Mt. Hood, just off Highway 26 at the 2,500' elevation marker. Just spent a few hours there, left at about 1am(and yes, we had a designated driver). 😉
We had so much fun, we decided it would be cool to spend the night so our designated driver(brother's girlfriend) could party too. 😉 We didn't get back out there until about 10PM.
Here is the scene as we arrived, lit by lantern light.
Got our tent up! 😉
Our OpenCooler?, which consists of..... the whole outside. 😀 It's kinda weird to be able to open a beer, and never have it get warm...
Temperature inside our cooler. 😉
Plenty of munchies...
Good times... yes, that is me on the left.
Spooky trees...
View straight upwards. That's a 15 second exposure.
And then we went to bed. 😉 We were a little cold, needed another layer between us and the(very cold...) ground. Oh well, live and learn.
I took all of these today when we woke up.
View of camp
Blue skies..
View from the other side of the camp site
Smoke
I thought this picture was neat
Zoom of the river
🙂
