I know most will say, the expiration date is there for a reason. But I am at work and cant run out ATM to buy another one...

Two months over the Exp Date should be okay? Thoughts?

most canned goods have long expiration date, like 2-3yrs away, so that can is probably at least 2-3yrs OLD, can I have your staples gift card if you died?

What should it smell like? It smells fine to me. Like regular chicken soup. It isnt green or anything and nothing is moving around inside. I guess that is a good sign?

It might possible taste somewhat stale, but it should be perfectly healthyto eat.

Was the can bulging?

If not, then it's probably ok. Be sure to heat it very well, just to be sure.

Ran out to Shop Rite and got a new can... Im already feeling a bit sick and didn't want to take a chance.

Funny thing is, I put the expired one back in my locker LOL

Agreed. There are "sell by" dates on most canned goods nowadays, but I'd guess that's for liability purposes. Even Spam has a "sell by" date. Everyone knows Spam tastes the same whether it's fresh or from WWII
