What phone is that? I want to get one, used to have on in Japan but now I'm locked into Verizon so I don't know if it's worth it.

Sony Ericsson T616, the pix are kinda crappy compared to some other phones. Notebly the Nokia 3650 takes VGA pix. I think verizon has a new LG phone that should be able to take nice pix too

Camera phones are indeed handy. Over in Japan, people have been using them to take snapshots of magazine pages. =T.

Don't know, I don't have camera phone to try it myself.
I just bring my ipaq and jot down the recipes or notes.

To take pix of recipe, tips, hair style, clothing style, etc from magazine.

is it even legible?

Not the whole page but you can get snippets, like the address for a restraunt or something. Helped me organize since I didn't have to lose my notes of stuff to buy or places to go anymore, I would just write it on paper then take a picture of it.

I just got a LG VX6000 with Verizon. It's a great phone and the camera is a cool feature.
