I must have missed that all-loving part in between the fire and destruction. I don't sugar-coat the situation, but at least I'm fully aware of it. I'd rather believe in a more positive life than a negative one, one like yours that lacks any hope of surviving.

no, to be fully aware of it means you have to realize god probably doesn't exist, or atleast doesn't seem to care. it has nothing to do with believing in positive life or not anymore than disbelief in santa will crush your will to go on. whats sad is that you have to believe in a fairy tale for a reason to exist. a mental block of easy simplistic answers to questions you should be asking. its an excuse not to think for yourself. and its ok to not know. its better to not know than to pretend that you do based on blind faith in some scripture that forces you to hold many contradictary irrational beliefs.

just look at religious tolerance for instance. is it really tolerance when you believe your religion is right and all others are wrong? after all, how tolerant of others can you be if you think they are all damned to hell for rejecting the gifts of your religion. and really, just look at how you've been taught to percieve the godless. they are all negative against life eh? of course your religion tells you that. it has to cast itself as the only good, the only path, the only truth. its how most religions work.
