Camcorder that takes digital pictures?

Looking to purchase a camcorder and a digital camera. Not sure if there is such a thing but are there any camcorders that take good digital pictures that compare to a digital camera? Looking for an all in one unit. Thanks!

i would just buy seperatly if for the only reason that you won't have lug around a digicam everytime you want to take a picture. Plus, i don't think I've ever seen one above 2 megapixels.

Buy seperately for sure. The quality of the cheapest digicam will be of better quality than anything a camcorder's built in still cam can do.

At this time you still really need to have both. High end consumer camcorders can take decent photos for printing up to 4x6 but still not as good as a decent digital camera.

They will work in a pinch, just not great quality. Just like my digital camera will work in a pinch for video, it's no substitute for the real thing.
