I just got this sweet speakers recently and I heard that the rear speaker volume can be adjusted... no not the normal volume control but one specific volume control to adjust JUST the rear speakers. Is this true? If so, how do I go about it? Can't find it anywhere :)

Gawd I feel dumb.

Thanks.

so you want to make the rear 2 speakers louder than the front 2 eh? well do you see the control nob that controls the volume? if so, then look at the spot that says bal & notice the 2 lines that match up in the middle? when the lines are connected the balance is even, when line is moved off to the left or the right, the speaker to the rear or front will increase in volume. why didn't ya read the manual ya SCURVY sea dog! BLAST YA rat tat tat azz!

Well that wasn't quite what I was looking for :p

When I unplug the Front cord from the subwoofer, I can hear the rear speakers only but they are significantly lower than front speakers.

If I plug Front back in and take out Rear from the subwoofer, I can hear the front speakers and they are louder than the rear speakers. I thought this was the normal default setting. Wondering if I can increase the volume on the rear speakers so that it's on equal level as the front speakers.

No more spankings please! :)

I see you are using a soundblaster live card.

I am assauming you have installed Liveware 3.
If not go get it first.

Liveware 3

Now go into your control panel. click on AudioHq.
Go into the mixer. you should see a Fad button.
This is the fad button for front and rear.
the bottom one is left and right.

hope this help you out.
