I need some help. The specs on these are very similar. Regular price on the dtt2200s are higher, but is it only because they say cambridge on them? They are regularly 129.99 and the 5300s are normally 99.99. But i can get the dtt2200s for 59.99 + shipping.

I need your opinions.

I believe that the DTT2200s are no longer being made, and the 5300 is the replacement for them. I have owned a set of the DTT2200s since they first came out (around Oct of 2000), and I have been extremely pleased with them. Unless you absolutely have to have the newest model, get the DTT2200s and save your money for something else.

Should be 2 plugs (not sure if it's digital or analog). I think the Inspires are analog, while the DTT2200 are digital (not sure though). The DTT2200 sounded really good from the reviews that I've read. I guess the $59.99 would be the refurbished ones 😀 (all good!!)

DTT2200s are analog, not digital, and were originally designed for a sound card with three analog outputs (like the Soundblaster Live 5.1). They connect to the sound card through a special three-plug cable supplied with the speakers.
