I think its a southern thing. I did see someone around here with those big wheels on a 90's Caprice. Looky goofy among the BMWs, Mercedes, Prius, etc, that you normally see around here.

The giant wheel thing is just weird. It makes the cars look like something has gone horribly wrong. A modification that looks idiotic and ruins the performance of your car. Ok then.
