Wow.
So two sh1tty ass hummers aint enough.
Americans need a 3rd one huh?

the ONLY thing wrong with the H3 is the power plant, other than that its one of the tops in its class, but it has a price that is slightly high.

uh huh.

its a better off-road vehicle than the Liberty/FJ Cruiser/Xterra...

I bet you $100 that you'll see more FJ's and Xterras off-road than you will H3's. H3's are for wannabe gangstas 😀

and what you see "more" of doesnt make them better 😀

i HATE the look of the FJ, its ugly inside and out, the Xterra i like a lot.

Well, the Camry IS better than the Impala/Malibu/whateverothercrapGMisproducingtodaysedan 😀

My point is though, that people will buy the FJ more for off-road junkets (think Wrangler) whereas people will buy the H3 to look cool (think H2)

Impala i will argue with you on, Malibu i wont.

GM900 has no competition, and the market cornered.

the H3 has the huge flaw of having Hillary Duff trying to carry Michal Moore up a hill.

but wait for the Diesel H3, then talk 😉

The Camaro looks OK, but I wish they would clean up some of those unnessary lines.

As for the H4, meh! Do they still make real hummers (H1)? Got a buddy that used to drive one of those.

How could you even argue with the Impala? The 2007 would kill it just about every category from interior space to fuel efficiency to build quality (given Toyo's reputation). Not to mention that the honking V8 would make it just as fast as the 3.5 liter V6 in the Camry.

Ok, I'll make an asinine statement regarding SUV's, then ya all can get on with life.

I own and drive one.
Those of us who do, do so because we like them and because we can. We don't give a sh!t about the price of gas and we don't care what anyone else thinks. And if you see me coming down the road, just get outta my way. 🙂

GM is FVCKED.

i like the future look incorporated into it.. very aggressive, and still keeps some retro styling. retro cars look good, but if we just reproduce them, people will complain about lack of creativity.

I don't see how you could possibly complain about a smaller, more capable Hummer. What is that you are smoking?
Capable of what? Toting the wife and three overweight children around?

I would be surprised if 1% of all SUVs sold ever saw a path less than oil and gravel paved.

Just like 1% of sports cars are actually driven like sports cars. Without those posers, enthusiasts wouldn't be able to buy those vehicles.
More sports cars are driven the way they are intended than SUVs.
Id venture to guess that more people get speeding tickets and unsafe driving tickets in sports cars than people who take SUVs off-road.

Happy to see the Camaro back, except the front is about as ugly as it can possibly get.

I wonder if they'll give the plant workers they told to fvck off at the plant in Boisbriand, Quebec (which produced Camaros) their jobs back.

And with what, are you going to block it, your moped, geek? 😉

There is nothing euro or jap about the new Camaro design. That automatically eliminates 90% of the people here from liking it.

I read the quote in the OP today on CamaroZ28.com. It's not confirmed, or else I would have posted a thread about it already. It won't be official until there is a press release or until Lutz is quoted as saying it's confirmed.

Hopefully they don't and they open another plant in the states to produce the cars.

You see how wide that hummer is and you think it will roll over? Look how low it is! Its probably even less rollover prone than a Lexus!

The camaro looks great, but I wonder if there is market there. The segment is getting crowded and after seeing sales slowly plummet on the last gen. I have to wonder.

GM is starting use their better power plants in more and more vehicles. Like the LS2 in the GTO and some trucks, the Northstars in the Buick Lucerne. They need to drop what doesn't work and apply what does.

I think the camaro will sell IF they price it right. The problem is that the car it's competing with (Mustang GT) can be had MUCH cheaper than their target price.

wait... GM's target price for the Camaro is <20K...

Speaking of Camaros, I was at a drive-in today and they was a beefed up late model Camaro there. What makes it interesting is that it had Foose along with Z06 emblems and on the back it said 500hp. It evidently was even supercharged, so I bet that little baby flies......🙂

Bah... I think that they need to build an H0, a BIGGER version of the H1. It could be a civilian version of the M2A3 Bradley, although the night vision and TOW missile launcher would be optional features 🙂

I'll believe it when I see it. My dad worked for Pontiac and their target price for the GTO was <$25k, it ended up selling for near $40k sticker until the sales slumped. They had to rebate the crap out of it to get it moving at $30k.
