Nice deal. I need this for pancakes on Sunday morning. I've been using a 12" frying pan for years to make tons of pancakes (4 kids) and it takes forever making 2 at a time. Thanks OP.

This thing is great. I bought one a few months ago when they had them on sale (from Amazon) and love it. The only thing I would warn against is the handles:

"Riveted, steel handles provide a secure hold and stay cool during stovetop use " ---- Not so, especially if you use a gas stove. If you're only using it to make a few pancakes, the handles don't really get that hot, but if you're mass- producing them (as we do at our house) they heat up fairly well....I learned the hard way, i.e. blisters across entire right hand...stupid, yeah, but....ouch. 🙁

Other than that, its great. Definitely worth the investment.

Agreed!

I make a ton of pancakes every other Saturday morning. This would be great. I could make 10 Silver Dollar pancakes at one time 😀

Hmmm... Maybe we should start a thread about what the best pancake receipe is 😀

n00b! I make 3 at a time on a round pan. 😛

This will not work on a 'Flat Top Oven' because of the ridges around the sides that are used to trap grease stick up, so the burners need to be above the stove to touch the center cooking area.

Does anyone know what the benefits are for having a stove griddle? An electric griddle is about the same price and it seems more convenient. I'm trying to decide which is better.

Here is how I got to the url in the link I posted:

entered amazon.com in a blank browser address window

then searched for Calphalon griddle

selected the OP's griddle

copied the url and pasted the info into the pop-up boxes for the post.

How, who, what, where is a referral?
