I have been "dieting" (meaning cutting calories) for a few months now and my weight has been consistently going down. I had decided that I would start working out after I got down to under 200, or 195. I have done so for the last week or so (fairly light workouts, 10-20 min 4-5 days a week of aerobic style cardio using my Kinect) and I am finding it much much harder to keep under 2000 calories. I doubt that I am burning up all that many calories by working out (the system calculates it at maybe 100-125 calories each workout) but I feel like I want to eat like 400 more calories a day... What am I doing wrong? Should I change my diet again? Should I not workout?

Here is my profile if you want to know what I have been eating:

You're eating way too many carbs and not enough protein/fat. Read the fat loss sticky for more info, but I'll give you a preview here. Carbs are digested very quickly in the body. Because of that (and their low effects on hormone), you do not get as full from eating carbs as you would like. On top of that, your hunger sensations get more highly regulated as you do aerobic exercise. The solution? Eat more good fat (nuts, seeds, olive oil, etc) and lean protein (fish, chicken, lean beef, etc). This is why I wrote the fat loss sticky how I did. Most people get hungry while dieting and exercising. You don't have to - if you eat the right things.
