I am in need of very good hosting with lots of features but not too expensive.

You're going to need to define "lots of features" and "not too expensive." A host may have "lots of features" but lack the one you want, and what's "not too expensive" for me may be too expensive for you.

I have one of my domains hosted at Cernax (agaboogaboo's company) with the cheapest hosting plan and I'm quite happy with it.

I also have a VPS hosted with Steadfast Networks. Vastly different prices, and each has some features that the other does not (I opted for no web control panel on my VPS). Different purposes.

cernax has been pretty good for me, although I had some email issues that were never really resolved. We couldnt tell if the problem was my host (Cernax) or the other host. I moved my email to Google and the problem persists, though I am not sure if that proves anything.

I was a bit naive when I hooked up with Cernax, I didn't know about watching my logs to see if I am getting spammed by bots taking up excessive bandwidth. This caused my site to exceed bandwidth allocation and get automatically shut off.

If you are running a straight html site, Cernax should be excellent. they have some pretty nice auto installed apps like Gallery and some forums.

I have been with sharkspace for a year or so. I have been with many web hosts and this is the best one I have had in many years. I pay $10 a month which is fine. That may not be super cheap but their service is well worth it.
