There is nothing I hate, I am about as fair as you can get in a situation and that is why *I* am so hated. I don't take sides based on face value...I find out both sides to the story, but people *hate* that...they want you to stick with them and agree because it suits them.

I had nothing at all against Roger...the way the thread went was he said the wrong information, I added in the correct, he and the other idiots started flaming me that I am never right. So I scanned the factory service manual. Now instead of say 'oh, well, I never...thanks'. He tried to rally the masses against me by saying "screw this! I am leaving and not coming back". Now not using anti-seize in aluminum heads is pretty serious. I had a spark plug come out taking all the threads with it on an older car than the previous owner skipped it on. That is an expensive repair....due to having to pull the head (chances are metal has fallen in the cylinder, and you should install the helicoil (if possible even) with the head off the car to be safest).

However, his threat worked enough to get a handful of guys to now just cause problems here under my replies.

I can guarantee in practically all, if not every single one of my posts I am the last to flame....and nothing I have said is wrong and any opinions I had were stated as such and not to be taken factually.

Please read what I have said here. I have never said anyone is going to stop...as a matter of fact I doubt they will find it possible.

I went off on that guy because he did not like my advice and challenged me saying I must live on an allowance....again a lot of the people is everyone assumes the other guy is still a teenager. So I replied how I was not on an allowance. He then edited his original posts, the ATOT common deal.

I am not the guy going off the deep end in these threads the other guys are...then going thread to thread, changing their signatures, posting stuff all over the internet and then sitting there voting on it constantly...

Again this doesn't bother me, however, it is bothering many here so this is why I am trying to draw attention so that those doing it can see it's not me. It's like 10 elementary students burning the school down because a teacher gave them homework. I am sure other kids will think they were right in doing so, but is that really the case?

It's doubtful this was TexMaster's doing....although he'd still be able to read postings. It was more than likely someone in the postings and even more likely a lurker hoping to stir up things.
 
Well, Quix did say in another thread awhile back that he would be allowed to say 'why' in a few days. But, that was well more than a few days ago. 😛

Yes, Roger sent me a personal message to that affect. I have talked with Roger via e-mail since than and have requested I not talk about the specific reason he has left the forums unless someone else brings up the topic.

After the latest debate in a car thread, it has been linked to in this thread, certain members took it upon themselves to spam Roger and Roger?s son e-mails accounts with questionable material of alternate lifestyles for men. Unfortunately Roger did not find out until after his son was exposed to the spammed mail. Roger is dealing with the offenders in his own way and asked that I not mention any additional details.

All I can add is that I am glad Roger is still my friend and I hope the people responsible for those acts are permanently banned.
 
You know, I wonder what he means by 'his own way'. I would love to see someone thrown in the slammer for contributing to the delinquency of a minor or whatever it is you can be charged with in a case like that.

BTW, alkemyst your posts (the ones I've read anyway) are nearly always confrontational and/or self-aggrandizing, toning it down just a notch would go a long way in keeping flamefests to a minimum

Some stupid fvcktard sent me a PM with a link to some very objectionable material also. This was weeks ago though and I just deleted it.

Still, I'd be steaming mad if they sent it to my son! That should be a permanent ban offence!!! :|
