Has to handle cat hair (yes, we eat a lot of cats) and other mundane items. Has to last forever. Noise isn't a big deal, working well with minimum fuss and lasting forever are the keys. Designer finish is not a concern as I can't remember the last time we invited house guests under the sink.

Um....well I think Badger still makes a pretty decent unit. Not sure on the cat hair though.

So do you grill the cats or just do it old school and deep fry them?
