calling canada from us

I didn't know I could just call Canada from my cellphone in US.... just finished talking to a friend in Canada for about an hour


Please don't tell me that my next phone bill is gonna bankrupt me ..... is it?

If you wanna talk to other countries cheaper, use VoIP with an international provider.
I talk to my best friend in austrailia for half a day(night) about once a month to twice a week depending on how we both feel, costs almost nothing.

I heard about a Rebtel.com at a forum; http://www.indiabook.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=24090 which offers you a way to make low-cost international calls. Hope it may be useful for you.
