Hi,
Ive been wanting to see how my system performed against other PCs for a while, but every thing that i try to compare too, use`s a DDR baced system.
So, if we all put our results in 3 apps here we can easyly see how good, or bad our systems are performing against each other. Think of it as our own version of Futuremarks ORB.

------------------------------------------
Here are the programs that i think we should use and the settings used in them.
3D Mark 2001SE v330 @ Default Settings.
3D Mark 2003 v360 @ Default Settings.
HardOCP UT2003 Benchmark Program @ DM-Antalus@1280x1024@Max Details.

System Settings:
Drivers set to max quality, but no FSAA/AF.
State if anything is OC`d/Tweaked.
-------------------------------------------
Here are my results.
3D Mark 2001SE = 9687
3D Mark 2003 = 4111
UT2003 = 100FPS

Notes.
Run on XP1800 w/768mb PC133.
3DMark 2001SE score used to be 10294, but cos of rage3d tweak, its gone down. My 2003 score went up by 100points though.
--------------------------------------------
Thanks for any help in this matter.

When i had a CUSL2-C board with a P3 1.26GHz@1.53, 512MB of PC133 and a stock Radeon 9700 Pro... i think the score was 11,000 something in 3dmark 2001SE. The same rig with a GF3 Ti500 scored 6700 something.

My brother's BX board with a Celeron 1.1A@1.54GHz, 512MB of PC133 and a Radeon 8500 @ 300/300 scored 9800 something... the 9700 wouldn't run on his rig so we quit trying. :)

Kind of seems pointless to buy such an expensive card for that computer. Mine gets over 50% more points with a geforce 4 (which I got free anyway). I used to run a 1600+ and got around 12k. I sold the board/cpu/ram I had, and spent about $100 extra to get myself a 2100+ and nforce2 board. This raised it to about the same speed as a 9700pro would get me, but only spent $100... I would do the same if I were you, but suit yourself.

Your missing the point. Try reading the post again.
I Already have the 9700pro, and wanted to compare it to other 9700pro cards, that were running on a SDR baced system.
