Ps. You suck at taking pictures.

Even though I don't know you, I like you now.

Just a hint... it would look more natural if you were walking slightly away and glancing to the left toward the people. As it is, it looks like you're addressing them and saluting them in the Nazi "fashion." Then again, I don't know much about celebrities. :p

Oh right, just for the record Azurik, buy a better camera. You can afford it. And buy a photographer to take your pictures too.

Azurik: If you use any of the photoshops listed so far, your friend will probably laugh at you

I mean, even the first one you showed him, with the French Tv newswoman shoulda been obvious (but I guess some people arent up to date on international anchormen/women). Even the banner used was kinda MAJOR for a simple report, usually reserved for celebrities.

You know... your friend may fall for any of the pictures if he fell for that first one... but I wouldn't risk it.

Well, I got pretty tired of working on this thing and wrapped it up at what I feel is a nice point, although more shading should be addressed...as well as some lovely fringe on the right I just noticed.

http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/674/atprojectcopytp1.jpg

Note to other photo"chop"pers: if you're (really) interested, I'll send the .PSD file, which has some backup layers and uses layer masks.

Azurik, if my image looks to be closer to what you're wanting, I will put a little more work into it in what I still see wrong with it/what the community sees wrong with it. Otherwise, by all means, please ignore and move on. :)

I do, however, wonder how the first image didn't give the prank away from the beginning...

But here's my uber photochop
fixed the shadows.. made the tone warmer.. the original sunlit lighting was too cool.
Brightened up the blacks, since there are no deep blacks in the picture.

Alright I just updated my original..
new update
I fixed the shadows around the legs that made it have an appearance of a halo.
I changed the colors and skin tones a tad
The red carpet would bounce off red light to his shoes and pants.. thus I used the paintbrush tool set to color blending mode, and painted it very lightly with red. This made it blend MUCH better.

I wish I could float.

The problem is the pictures the OP supplied us. You guys have to use another background for his pic, and like I said it is also the 3rd image on google. Very easy to find.

Very nice with the shoes, now just blend the sharp copy paste lines better around his shoulders and add some noise.

Azurik I would like you to use your AmEx black card to arrange a phone call between Hedi Klum and me. Thanks a lot for the prize for winning, since this entry defintely wins.

It took me 3 hours to do.

I finally decided to use your background, even though aspect ratios were off, and the people weren't looking. Then I had to get rid off all the lights and redo them all, for each camera flash, spotlight, and natural light. Then I had to add shadows and reflections. Then I had to get rid of your floating feet and blended them. Next up I played with your body posture in Illustrator because you were in to much of a pose position that would make your friend suspicious. Then I blended the copy paste lines, and changed hue, saturation, colors, levels, and matched blacks and whites. Then I added some noise that would appear if taken by a disposable camera.

Overall it was a lot of effort, but I defintely produced the best one here. No contest. I don't mean to brag or anything, but I am not modest and my skills are so much better.

So should I PM you about how to obtain my prize?
