Calling all The Simpsons fans

im guessing the one where bart and neds son play miniature golf and go head to head in a tourney and end up calling it a draw. just guessing because of the putters in his hand.

or it's the one where homer becomes good friends with ned and starts to annoy ned the way ned always annoys homer.

OK thanks
I agree it was the golden age of The Simpsons
They still have a funny moment here and there but not as much as it used to be

lol, I think of that scene often.

The episode where Homer becomes friends with Flanders, after discovering his awesome man cave...that only serves non-alcoholic beer and has 400 satellite channels blacked-out.

😀

AKA: The Conan O'brien years. :single tear:

Yeah, I read the wikipedia page for this episode (linked above) and this was the last episode that Conan pitched.

From the episode in question:

Ned: Oh, I guess it's time for me to duck again.
Homer: No! I want everyone to know that-- (yelling out window) --this is Ned Flanders, my friend!
Lenny: What'd he say?
Carl: I dunno. Something about being gay.

Classic. I wish there was an on demand thing for the Simpsons where you could just press random and it would give you whatever episode came up. I want to watch episodes sometimes, but I can never decide which one.

A different episode but classic Homer:

Homer: Are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.

OK thanks

Its a completely different show now. That or my mind just changed as I aged. This scene alone is better then anything from the last what, 8 years?

That's coming, if you're subscribed to FX: http://www.cnet.com/news/woo-hoo-fx-app-will-legally-stream-every-episode-of-the-simpsons/

It is quite a bit different now, and its pretty hit and miss the past several. Some have been really awful (I think its pretty bad right now), some have been better, but none have been as good as the first I forget how many years. Every so often there's a pretty good one.
