Calling all SCCM Gurus!!!

Hey folks,

Need an assist here. I've installed System Center 2012 w/ Endpoint Protection on our network. It deploys the client and EP perfectly however, I cannot get the clients to receive a software package after it has been send to the DP.

I have manually checked that the package is available in the DP but nothing is happening on the client side.

Any help would be appreciated. Logs available upon request.

What is DP? I'm not seeing that anywhere in documentation.

DP = Distribution point

just curious which guide did you use to install it? I haven't set up the server yet...

I didn't use this one but it is the best I've found out there. Set up in a lab. Since I installed mine on a live network it was quite different.

Did you set advertisement for the software to your targeted computer collections?

Did you Distribute > software and create a new collection for that computer?

Do a machine policy refresh?

Which logs have you looked at? the distrmgr.log I think is a good start.
