Alright guys, i need some advice here. I have two 36x24" color laminated stickers with my company logo and phone number on them. I'm going to use them for two signs that will be temporarily installed on different sides of the lawn of a house my company is renovating. I need to construct some sort of a stand for each of them though, so i need some suggestions. Something not overly bulky, yet something that won't get blown off by wind.

I was thinking of using some sort of ~1CM thick plastic or plywood to glue the stickers on and then two steel rods of some sort. Perhaps those hollow steel rods, with a screw going through the top, about 3" from the top, and then the plywood/plastic could somehow be connected to the screw. Or maybe a triangle-shaped rod. Hit me up with ideas people!

Something that big you might need some holes in the plywood so it doesn't act like a sail. Depends on how strong the wind gets where you live. (spelling edit:D)

Sorry, but...
Your company is renovating a house.
It assigns an employee the task of putting signs in front of the house.
You can't figure out how to make the signs stay up.

Are you surrrre that you're company's qualified to do renovations??
Or, next week in this forum, are we going to read, "okay, my company is thinking about putting up a wall... what would you use?"

:D

I'd probably do something with small diameter PVC pipe. If you could find a plastic banner piece with a sleeve on each end that a pipe could run through (similar to something you would see at a parade), you could put the stickers on that. Then you could either run pipe into the ground to make it stay or construct a stand of sorts and throw a bag of sand on it or something.

My thoughts exactly!

Also NogginBoink nailed my next thought. Use the exact same sign holders used by real estate agencies. They're sold at sign shops for pretty cheap. No sense reinventing the wheel.

Just put the sticker/sign on a plywood backing. Nail/screw/whatever a small (maybe 1" x 1") 4 foot long "leg" to each end of the sign on the back. THen just pound them into the ground. It won't blow over if you sink it deep enough in and it won't rip apart unless you have a hurricane or something...
