Calling all Linux Administrators

So now I need some help... 😉

I was just given 4 machines to configure to shutdown after 5 mins of battery runtime.

System 1: RedHat Enterprise Linux AS 2.1

System 2: RedHat Enterprise Linux ES 3

System 3: RedHat Enterprise Linux ES 4

System 4: Solaris 8.5 on Intel Platform

Is there any built-in solutions for this on any of these platforms? If so what? If not can you point me in some kind of direction?

Thanks in Advance.

You probably want to install apcupsd or NUT.

Been playing with apcupsd and it seems like it would do the job. Just looking for some alternatives. I will look into NUT. Thanks!
