Get all your papers ready (signed agreements, company policies, all transaction records)...

That is dick.. Even if something illegal was going on the server, they still need to notify you to give you an opportunity to fix it.

I would suggest trying to find a lawyer that has dealt in a few things technological that lives in your area. Otherwise, you are going to be faxing tons and tons of papers and it will take a lot of your time. Imo, would be much better just to meet with someone.

i was hoping someone on AT could help...i can't really go anywhere at 15, nor can i spend money on a lawyer...also don't know any personally in my area who's be willing to help out a bit unless i paid them $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I'd help you out but I don't have my law degree yet. Good luck, maybe there are some pre-paid or pro bono legal services near you that could help.

i take it this was a hosting situation? what company, who, why, where, when, etc.

go to webhostingtalk.com and post about it. seriously. seriously.

Get your parents involved. At 15 no one will take you seriously, and that will damage your ability to get things resolved in your favor. Most lawyers aren't going to do pro-bono work on a case like this unless a family friend, and most likely you will have to get your parents involved either way. If that isn't possible then I'm not sure what you can do. Most important thing to do is create a paper-trail with anything you have regarding the account(including e-mails). Phone calls are typically ignored or they shoot you BS, so immediately send a demand asking for you money back via Certified Mail with delivery confirmation and signature required. Can you give more details of what happened? Did the company go bell-up? Did you miss a payment? Did they suspend the account for illegal activity? Did the change datacenters? Details are needed at this point.
