My lappy has a busted hinge, and consequently the screen is all floppy and loose :(

Unbroken hinge:http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/dug777/Unbrokenhinge.JPG

Any ideas as to how i can get that hinge to grip again, some kind of rubber grommet maybe?

Cheers for any help folks,

Dug.

(I posted this in OT because i KNOW it's full of people who are good at this sort of thing, but never visit GH...but if it's that much of a problem please move it Mods, cheers ;))

I would try some epoxy. You might want to look around online for another hinge

What kind is it? My gf had a dell with a broken hinge. I ordered new ones through dell for less then $40.
