Calling all engineers

What's the questions? You can PM me if you want. My willingness to answer depends on how many questions there are. 🙂

Yeah. I am pretty sure those first few responses were facitious.

I am an electrical engineer as well, with work in the automotive industry and other stuff that I won't talk about on a public forum. I would have no problem answering some questions for you, and I promise I won't give you a hard time either.

Yeah, I figured as much. I was just letting the OP know that he could interview me if he couldn't find anyone else. I just said what I did so he knew what kind of work I did before he decided whether I did something he wanted to interview me for. I was surprised that the first few people gave him such a hard time when it seems like he is only a highschool student from the post.

I did like your response though. I thought the same thing, which is why I included it in my response.

well i work for Wausaukee composites in Wisconson. we are building nacelles for 2 different wind turbine manufactures, both located in Iowa.

Well seeing how it was 11pm when I posted, I didn't want to dive into an interview if it involved writing about my life story.

Ah well college engineering, as for the interview I contacted a few friends and they had friends who's fathers were engineers, so I got it taken care of. Thanks for all the offers though 😀 Maybe I'll pm you all later with some questions since I'm considering majoring in engineering.
I suppose the time of day I asked led me down the wrong path.

Shhh, You have to be quiet or you will scare all the Engineers away, Social things are scary to their kind (starting second year for Computer Engineering.)

But yeah, there are lots of engineers that browse this forum, or at least a lot of people the sound like they know what they are talking about 😀

You can get engineers to come out of hiding by putting a terminal in an open area and on the screen put a prompt "I'm a hot 20 yr old girl from sweden , and I would love to discuss the chemical difference between latex and rubber in person !"

I'm an EE no longer 'practicing'.
Formally did parallel computing, consumer electronics @ GE, about 10 years worth.
Now doing computer graphics, what I should have done from the start, just didn't know it
