Anyone who has a E6300 or a E6400, kindly post the following, and only the following:

1. Processor and Stock Speed
2. Current Speed and Temp.
3. Time that it has run overclocked
4. Any issues?
5. If you are using a custom HSF, then please post your overclocked speed with the stock cooler as well.

I will start:

3. Has never been overclocked
4. No issues
5. Modified Big Typhoon cooler, never used the stock cooler

1. E6400 (2.14)
2. 3.4 ... I don't monitor temps ..
3. Since early Dec..
4. No issues here..

As shown in my sig, ( need to revise ) Ran 3.6 at 1.45v, but 3.4 is with default vcore, so I prefer to leave it there..

1. E6300

3. Two days 😛
4. drr-800 and a low multiplier are holding me back.

1. e6400 2.13

Where are you getting your temperatures from?

E6300 (1.86ghz)
3.15ghz, no change to voltage on anything
2 days, ran stress test and farcry and seems fine
Seems to run hot under load, approaching 70c, but no visible issues
Stock HSF

I ran 2.5ghz with no problems right out of the box. After capping the pci-e slot at 100mhz, I could push it above 3ghz. My memory can do at least 450/900, doesn't like 500/1000.

Xeon 3040 (E6300) 1.86
2.9 Ghz 40/65
1 hour
Random restarts, cool boot issues, even at stock speeds --> PSU problem 😉
Stock HSF

E6400, 2133
3200, 40 idle, 50 Orthos (Vcore 1.350)
2 months
As posted in another thread started giving me problems 2 days ago. Updated BIOS to 1004 and am now more solid than I was.
Big Typhoon, never used the stock cooler

E6300 - Gigabyte DS3
2.8 GHz = 400 x 7
MCHV=+0.1
VCORE=normal @ 1.2875 (can go to 1.23 or more and still stay orthos stable!)

Orthos stable 12 + Hrs @ 1.25 V

1. E6400, 2.13GHz, Gigabyte GA965P-DS3
2. 3.2GHz(4x800MHz) @ 1.4875v, northbridge +0.2v
3. almost 3 months
4. no issues
5. I have an OEM version, so no stock HSF. I am using Asus Silent SQUARE. At idle: 25'C, after 30 minutes running 2 Prime95 CPU torture threads: 44'C

OK, I'll play. 🙂

1. E6400
2. 3.2GHz at 40C in my crowded case with high ambient temp. 😛 Gets to upper 50's under heavy load.
3. A month or so? 24/7. 😀
4. My only issue is a LAN driver that occasionally stops working with my DS3. Sometimes it will work for a week and other times I must reboot daily. Tried several different drivers and am hoping I have that fixed now.
5. I have an AC Freezer 7 Pro but when I got my DS3 board I never bothered to play with the stock heatsink/fan.

P.S. Just to show it's stable. Text

P.P.S. I've had the RAM set at 4-4-4-12 for the last week with no problems. 🙂

1. E6300
2. 3.0Ghz at 47 idle, 60 on load with 1.33 vcore and a stock cooler with stock hsf.
3. 2 1/2 months, orthos 12 hours stable.. ( my memory is what restricting me to go higher)
4. sometimes while booting up it stops at "DMI pool verifying data" or something like that. i have no idea why? (it requires a restart after this)
5. never had an after market or customized cooler 🙁

Where are you getting your temperatures from?

Both Coretemp and TaT agree to within a couple degrees.
Screenshot

I had nice temps, around 50C load before i started undervolting. It just got better from there.

E6300 @ 1.86Ghz
Running at 2.96Ghz for ~2 weeks
CPU @ 1.1-1.25V (stock)
No idea about temps
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

I play BF2142/Oblivion/FEAR/BF2 all stable

Okay, fixed my temperature problems. Got a CoolerMaster HyperTX, and I can't make it go above 52C no matter the load. Good times!

Now at 3.2ghz, no voltage increases. I think this is where she'll stay. I can't see the point in upping voltage just to increase another 100-200 mhz.

OK< I have 6 C2D's, so I will post the averages

3 x 6300, 2 x 6400 1 x 4300
3.4 ghz x 4
2.5 x 1 (e6400 crappy mobo, doing GPU F@H)
1900 E4300 crappy mobo (soon to be a DS3)
3-5 months
Ninja syth, syth infinity, 2 x Big typhoon, two stock hsf
Temps are all 50-60c depending on abient
No issues.
