What do you guys think of the panel? I'm having my friend who bought one a month ago come over this weekend to inspect my panel and to calibrate it. He's very anal compared to me, and knows plenty more so I'll trust him...
But what do you guys think?
this thing definitely blows the 2405 at home away and the 2407 also. Wow. I'm amazed. Beautiful all around.
It's definitely off in calibration as my 19" was well calibrated. I get a red push, but hopefully that'll get fixed.
My main complaint is now my HD content looks like crap. Those 720p rips look real bad, and even my recorded stuff is bad. I'm watching the superbowl right now and it's decent, as with my other 1080p content, but dang... I recorded 24 last season and even that doesnt look too good (cable feed). Ok, but that's understandable moving up to such a high resolution. I can imagine watching my 46" LCD TV at home close up and it wont look too good.
My main complaint though is the backlight. I see a lot of backlight bleeding especially on my left edge.
