Calling all audiophiles, what is the best integrated digital amp under 1k?

I'm trying to put together a mostly music stereo system. I bought a pair of axiom m3s a couple days ago. I still need to get an integrated amp and a cd/sacd player. I've been looking at digital amplifiers and found that they have the best price/performance ratio. Can anyone recommend digital amplifiers that they've listen to or own?

Do you mean an amp with an integrated DAC?

i assume he means an integrated amp that does digital stuff (like dolby digital, dts, etc.)

Yamaha and Denon are both very good for the money and, in their price ranges, I'd say there's nothing that can beat them. What you buy depends on how much power you want, how many channels you want, and how much processing you want.

There are amps that are entirely digital now, rather than relying on transisters (solid amps) or tubes. I can't explain exactly how it works, but if you want more info you can google it. Some digital amplifiers brands, Bel Canto, Tact, and a 15k sharp amp http://sharp-world.com/products/1-bit/product/amplifier/sm-sx100/index.html :Q
I'll bet those aren't what he's talking about.
Uh...that is he.
