I'm looking into buying a '91 4Runner 4X4 SR5. Who ever has these, are they good quality? Any problems? I'm planning on getting one for my adenture in photoghaphy in the desert.

Really ? Not to start a big war but you would expect a Jeep to be more reliable than a Toyota ?? The Runner may not be quite as awesome off road but I wouldn't trust a Jeep in the desert of all places...

Wha??? First choice is the FJ 40 Landcruiser.

The radio in a jeep or something might not be the highest quality, but the mechanical parts are usually top notch! The 4.0 Liter straight 6 engine is a legend practically, and the dana axles are also of a great record. Usually when you thumb through any of the car review rags some other suv gets the pick, but then they say something like &quot;but if you're looking to really ever go offroad, buy the jeep&quot; hehe. Grand cherokee, 2001 SUV of the year.... Offroad I see mostly jeeps, some chopped toy trucks tossed in a scattering of other stuff. But anyway ...
