Doing research for a homework assignment, bear with me please.

What are some unusual requests you've received from your boss? If there was a phone app or website that could help you do your job what would the (Ideal) functionality of that resource be?

Thanks in advance.

Oh ... the many things I've wanted to ask my AA to do for me but was afraid to ask.

Those darn pesky sexual harassment laws! :whiste:

Darn, I thought you were just looking for interesting stories. I never really admin asst'ed, I worked at one place where he practically had all his employees as his admin but I seemed to get a lot of the tasks, and another where I would backup the big boss's admin when she was out.

For that second job, I don't know what would have helped other than a calendar program she could scribble on. You have no idea how much paper I wasted printing out her daily calendars. Not just any paper, it had to be in color. Not just the daily calendar, folded in a trifold, but also her weekly calendar, and the monthly calendar so she could see the changes made to it during the day. Sigh.

none, really.

the most annoying part of my job when I was an AA was handling lunch orders. I'd get a list of things to order and a handful of cash but no one ever said how much tip they wanted to give and how much change they were expecting, so I'd just kinda give what I'd give if it were me ordering and then get bitched at for giving too big of a tip.
