i am trying to call about a rebate that i sent to someone elses house and when i do it already knows my phone no.i tried *67 and and then the no. and it still wont block the no. any ideas?

Make sure the code *67 actually works (check in the front of your phone company's white pages).

Otherwise, use a different phone, such as a cell phone.

That's what pay phones are for. Even *67 (or whatever) won't work if you're calling most businesses - they use different technology to figure out who you are.
