No matter which audio driver I choose, my weapon is alot quieter than all other weapons in the game. Friendly and enemy weapons all around me are deafening, but mine can barely be heard. Happens with all weapons using every driver (EAX, EAX2, EAX3, Miles 2D).

Has anyone experienced or heard of smilar problem? Any help very much appreciated.

SB Audigy 2ZS w/latest EAX 4 driver + website update.

Well first do you have the audio level properly adjusted?Make sure your wave setting is set to high.

It is. And if it wasn't, wouldn't that affect ALL weapons in the game and not just mine?

Try rollingback to the orignal drivers.

Is the game patched to the latest version?

Also use a high Windows volume and a low speaker volume rather than the other way around.

Yes, GOTY Edition, 1.3 out of box, patched to 1.5. I tried the high Windows/low speaker volume and it didn't help (thanks for the suggestion though). I'm stumped. Everyone else raves about the sound in the CoD games...
