When shot, bodies appear to fall more realistically and fluidly; the animations don't seem as "canned" as they do in COD4.

Graphics look superb... my only question is, do I get to stab anyone with the rock climbing gear?

Let's drop the console vs PC debate in this thread. Now.

damn, i wish i could play an FPS on console like that. if it was me playing, it would look like my character was having seizures...
 
the video doesn't work at work. 🙁 gonna have to remember to watch this at home. i'm really excited for this game.

Just force yourself to play...you'll get it. I had the same opinion at first...took me a while to switch...now I don't even play games on the PC anymore.

QFT. Online CoD4 was the best FPS experience I've ever had. Amazing game.

it's still amazing. Once it finds its way into my xbox...I have a hard time getting it out. I actually have to force myself not to put it in there to make sure I play some of my other games my wife keeps buying me.
 
I wish they would reveal a bit more about a plot line; like how much time has passed since COD4. In the original game Soap was a Corporal (IIRC) and now he's already made it to Captain? I was hoping that Cpt. Price would survive and be brought back, but I guess I'll have to keep guessing. Always thought that the bonus level was a segway to MF2 and it's definitely Price's voice we hear in the opening before aircraft is breached.

Thoughts?
 
game looked pro but dude shouldn't have reloaded after every single shot since it was sp after all
got annoying
 
Another release day buy for me. I missed the boat on COD4 and ended up with WAW which was disappointing. Can't wait.
 
Just FYI, it's no longer Call of Duty. Infinity Ward doesn't have the rights to that name, only the Modern Warfare name. It's just Modern Warfare 2.

I don't think it's a rights issue since Activision is publishing MW2. It's probably just to avoid confusion and let the Call of Duty series continue on with its WWII theme.
 
Marked. COD4 is win.

I just went through the SP campaign again in the past week. It is pretty short but epic.

This will be a release day buy for me on PC.

It's not. They've already shown off other levels via pics including a Brazilian shanty town.

If anything, it sounds like this version of Modern Warfare is going to be more of a diverse international feel whereas the first one was primarily in former Soviet countries with a little Middle East thrown in.

The only thing missing is Bond babes. 😉
