So there is now an infinite health glitch. Just played against a guy who couldn't die. He ended going 22 and 0, and had trouble killing me. I knifed him at least 5 times one life.

Treyarc has been real quick so far with fixing exploits and bugs, so I'm sure as soon as it gets out how to do it they'll have it fixed.

BTW, last night on a game of Ground War I earned 3 Huey's in one game (no CP's), but everyone nowadays seems to have a launcher so I got knocked out of the sky pretty quickly each time.

I'm about to switch to Napalm, Blackbird & Attack Dogs because of stuff getting shot down so quickly. Or maybe SAM, Napalm, Blackbird ...

Ended up joining some pub demolition and finally finished up Ninja pro. Although it took an extra match. On one match the team I was on were dominating then at the end the host dropped and I didn't get any credit for it.

I'm in the same boat. I think my record is 5 kills, my normal highest is just 4 than death comes a knocking.

I rarely get one Chopper Gunner, I just happened to get the 8 kills in a row three times. Worked out well, but honestly I think that between those 3 CG's I had maybe 8 kills.

And we didn't kick ya to the cold, we had 9 in our party in Ground War and we were in a room that wasn't populating.

That's center speed. The higher the number, the less overall recoil. It's a measure of how fast it can return to center after each shot.

And also, when it's 40 left 40 right, it doesn't mean they cancel out entirely - each shot individually kicks in one direction or the other, so on average they should generally result in a spread around a center point, but it could be randomly offset by a bit just due to probability.

When it's 10 left 60 right you're practically guaranteed to kick overall to the right, but individual shots can kick slightly left.

Where do you find these gun charts/info? Is it in the game?

I'm in the same boat. I think my record is 5 kills, my normal highest is just 4 than death comes a knocking.

My record is 16 but on average I don't get higher than 5 so I stick to nothing higher than that. SAM, care package, and sentry gun/mortar with hardline when playing objective modes, and spy plane, counter spy, and napalm without hardline when playing TDM.

I think my highest wa slike 11 or 12. And ive gotten up there a couple times (like 3). I used to run spyplane, care package, attack chopper. Would get to the chopper probably every third game or so on average. But got tired of the chopper being shot down. So for objective games i switched to spyplane, napalm, mortar team. get way more kills with motor/napalm and can save objectives with them too 🙂

I went into a gun game lobby on my PS3 last night. Went to the level loading screen where it said awaiting challenge... 1.. 2... 3...

It got all the way to ..108 before returning to the lobby screen and disconnecting me... Very frustrating.

Got up to 7 kills in a row on TDM and got disconnected shortly after (was trying to get 8 in a row contract).. Very frustrating.

Proceed to join new lobbies and get disconnected from each of the 3 I joined

Finally get to a load screen in my fourth lobby only to find my Hanoi map file is 'corrupt' and I can no longer play it.. WTF. My game has froze several times loading levels for online MP. I think this is probs why Hanoi is corrupt.. Bloody annoying.

So I decide fuck this, i'm play SP campaign for a bit. Return to main menu. HDD loading... I have to re-enter my config settings for what must be the twentieth time.. Fuck you Blops, fuck you Treyarch, fuck you Activision..

I turn PS3 off and watch The Apprentice...

Anyone with an XBox Blops - you cannot comprehend how shit Blops is on PS3.. I have never played a game with so many hiccups and flaws. WTF is with the config settings having to be re-entered! How was this not spotted in Alpha, let alone Beta!

Yep on Xbox 360. The guy wasn't smart enough to pick up other peoples guns (I assume he ran out of ammo pretty quick because he was a scrub trying to knife people). If I had infinite health, I'd have been destroying.


On kill streaks, I get my care package (5) the majority of the times I am alive. When I die, I usually get in some spawn killing loop garbage and I die 3-4 times before I switch spawns...

I'm not sure what it is. I Prestiged last night, and went right into a game where I went something like 13 kills in a row.

Maybe that default assualt class is just bad ass.

yeah its pretty broken on the ps3 right now.. i guess thats why psn is free 🙂 hehehe but no really.. its annoying. im going to start playing bad company 2 soon i think.

I usually do considerably worse until I unlock what I play with. My K/D dropped below 1.5 after I prestiged until I unlocked a few things.

I'm sort of opposite that.. Once I unlock the Galil, I wanna use that b/c I've done well with it a few times in the past, and sometimes it doesn't work out well. Same with the Aug and Ak47.

I loved fully auto rifles in MW2 (m4 and acr, specifically), can't get used to them and love the 3 rnd. burst this time around.

i rarely even get spy planes. 🙁

I personally run spy plane counter spyplane and blackbird. I think the blackbird is so amazing. IMO best killstreak there is no defense for it. I don't really care about k/d ratio. I will never be that good. As long as I am at 1 or above I am happy. Plus those killstreaks really help out my team.

Some of my best games come right after I prestige. This current prestige my first game back was on Domination and I went something like 32-5 using the MP5 on Jungle (about the last weapon I'd choose for that map).

I don't like the burst weapons in this game as much as games past, I think in large part because since there is no stopping power I can't get a 1 burst kill. Commando is still king in my book.

BTW, last night I had the worst thrashing I've ever had playing a CoD game. We played Domination on Nuke Town and got absolutely worked, I had the highest kill ratio on the team at 0.61...and the sucky part is they weren't even cheap about it. I agree with my bud PJ, I couldn't be pissed at them as they were just genuinely phenominal.

Went and looked and two of the guys on their team (6th and 7th prestige) had > 3.5 win AND kill ratios.

For anyone who's struggling to destroy a Sentry Gun for Ghost Pro, I have a solution. I was contemplating not prestiging again because of how difficult it's become to find a Sentry Gun nowadays, then this morning I had an idea.

Free-For-All. Get a few AnandTechers or other friends in an FFA game with you and it should be super easy, just be in party chat, get the CP containing said gun, get both of you in a corner, set up gun, knife, win. Just make sure it's facing in a safe direction! 😀

If this game is like every other CoD game, send the invites, switch right before they accept the invite and BLAM-O! Party in non party gametypes. Or just join mid game with friends and then it is easy to get them done. If we can get 12 people willing to do it (two parties of six) we can all join in a Domination game and farm those hard to get pros. As long as nobody captures a point, I believe the game will not stop. I don't believe there is a time limit, just a first to 200 wins.

It's funny, when I use ghost trying to get ghost pro I never find sentry guns. If I run hardline, i see shitloads of them. Maybe I should run hardline and then if i see one get killed and switch to a ghost class

At least once a day I get a Sentry gun and a sentry gun kill... I don't understand how people are finding it hard to get Ghost Pro. I had my sentry gun kill LONG before I got my 30 planes shot down. I am not exaggerating when I say I get at least one sentry gun kill per day.

Get hacker, play Domination, kill sentry guns, get Ghost pro...
