it was fun for the first week, because no one expected it, now people just shoot till they see numbers, i ran it to get it to pro and that was about it

Second chance pro is for bads.. think about it, you gota die to even get to use it.

But you get to shoot with your pistol afterwards! What a novel idea. I wish it used your actual secondary though. If I happen to have an RPG, why the fuck not. It is already unrealistic.

I didn't realize you needed the pro version in order to be revived and have yelled at my team upon starting a new prestige using the default assault class (which has the normal version).

rofl, my friend thought the same thing. He was literally yelling into his mic for his team to revive him until I told him you need last stand pro for it to work.

That is what I was doing. I was yelling at my team to revive me and getting upset they wouldn't.

It's intense and a lot of fun. Basically a "point of interest" shows up on the map and both sides fight for it. Each team needs to capture it. The longer you hold it, the more points you get. After a certain time, the point expires and moves to a new location, or after the other team disrupts your hold.

also, at least in mw2, if you die while you own the point you don't respawn until you no longer own the point.

i used to find i could get lots of xp in hq games.

Dual mags just seems like a waste unless the mags are larger. I can't say I've ever used it.

The single faster reload isn't that big of a deal, the extra ammo is though.

yea some people run absolutely useless guns. some of the SMGs are even worse then picking up a sniper

I've yet to find a truly useless weapon. Alot of them I don't like/suck with, but I suppose they all have their purpose.

So, does it actually give you more ammo? I live pretty long and I almost always pick up the first enemies gun I can find that isn't worthless (sniper / shotgun...). I would love an attachment that gives more ammo. Heck, that is all it had to do. Scavenger should not be a first perk slot. I'd take it over Warlord Pro any day.

Yup, with most assault rifles you start with 120 rounds. With Dual Mags that # gets bumped up to 180 rounds. total. It's a universal 50% increase for any weapon that can use it.

Has anyone done an iron sights/red dot accuracy comparison? I remember the red dot/reflex business, but i'm starting to wonder if there is a reduction in recoil and/or spread when using a sight.

I'm used to iron sights...in MW2 i never ever used a sight. However, in blops i have found my kills go way up when i equp a red dot....to the point that i always use one now. I can't figure out why unless the game is changing the spread or something.

I doubt the spread changes at all. You're just able to compensate manually with the red dot better than you can with the iron sights.

So i'm back to running HLP, WLP and SCP and my KDR is quickly picking up again, i love setting people up to come and try to kill me when i'm on spy plane, since spy plane is one of my KS, and i get 1 like every life, i always know where they are coming from, hehe.

If you look at my posts in this thread, I shared a video someone did comparing the Red Dot and Reflex. From the videos, reflex seems to have better grouping than red dot.

I've used red dot and reflex on the AK47. I found the reflex site to be bulky, obscuring more view than the red dot and thus leading to less accuracy, so I tend to prefer the red dot on it. But on my M16, M14, and Galil, I've only used the reflex site and have no issues with it.

I still feel that video is completely rigged. I find the reflex site to be much easier to compensate due to its floaty nature. If they did it without hands on the thumbsticks, it might be a little more telling as to what the recoil actually does. In fact, when I get home, I will try this.

Now you've confused me. From what I recall, the video showed that the Reflex site had LESS recoil (on the Commando and M14 I believe) than the red dot and yes, they were not touching the thumbstick. So if the video agrees with your assertions, why is it rigged? 😕

I only shared my experience with the AK-47, which was likely influenced more by the aesthetics of the reflex than anything.

The red dot is bigger when looked at from an angle, but when looking through both sights they take up about the same amount of screen area, don't they? I used the reflex a bit and didn't think it was very intrusive.

I just tried it with 4 different guns with 2 full load outs of each gun. It is random as far as I can tell. It was a coin toss as to which had the "less" spread. ADS with each sight just lowers the cone of fire and where the bullets end up is somewhere within them. Can be a very tight spread to a very spread one. The video proves nothing conclusively.

The only problem with the matchmaking I've had is when I play mercenary TDM and there will be 7 players sitting in the lobby and it can't find 1 more.

Just tried to play Domination for the first time. It was on cracked. That map is now my least favorite, taking the place of Hanoi. The B flag has to be in the most retarded spot because you have to be COMPLETELY exposed if you want to cap it.

the matchmaking is a god damn joke. sometimes it finds games fine. other times i sit there forever and it can't find a fucking game.

Matchmaking has been flawless for me since the patch on the 360. Party system still isn't great, but joining randoms has been quick and painless after the patch.

My roommate couldn't join my last night despite being on the same router. It is a little frustrating. Also, if you have a party of 5 or 6, it takes forever to get matched up against another party.

Thats why B is the most important spot on the map. But you can stay prone on a side of the hill to cap, and smoke grenades are your friends. Youve got lots of options to take it back.

pretty sure cracked is my least liked map for any game type. it plays too well to campers and i fucking hate campers. seriously IMO if you stand still for more then 10 seconds a giant beacon should appear on the map telling people where you are
