anyway i tried it ran warlord with extended mags and grip because i found that it chewed through ammo too fast, will prob run scavenger + SOH on it today if i play

I like Warlord over Steady Aim or SoH, but that's just me. Try different setups and see what works for you!

i tried grip + rapid fire but i felt like i didnt have enough control..

will steady aim give you more accuracy vs grip?

I tried the mac11 and it's not bad, but very similar to the spectre and the spectre holds more ammo. I ran with scav+warlord+marathon. Put on grip and extended mags. This thing fires like crazy, and ext. mags only ups he ammo count to 30. It's good for picking off people one at a time, but I ran into 2 or more a few times and got 1, but sometimes didn't have enough left in the clip... even for the second person.

I usually go with lightweight, steady aim and marathon combined with rapid fire, although I tend to play either free for all or objectives where your k/d isn't important. I basically just rush and spray and try to get the drop on people before they even have a chance to ADS. It's particularly effective in domination and CTF where speed is of the essence, although youll be easy prey for campers. The Mac11 and other machine pistols are designed to be run and gun weapons. Doesn't make sense to me to use the grip...if you need long range accuracy, you need something other than a mac11 to begin with.

I was trying to run around with those dual shotguns...can't think of the name, but you have to buy all of them to get it. I've seen people use it and so I thought I'd try it out.

God, that stuff is crap. I play sharp shooter sometimes, and the dual shotties are the worse guns that I run into on those matches.

I agree with Kabob's mac11 class, we completely dominated when we all ran that class on monday. It was a lot of fun, too 😛

I don't really hip fire unless im coming around a corner and know that there is someone there. Maybe I need to change up my style.

yea you can just hip fire it to victory, but when you do ADS there is no kick as well its pretty amazing

Yeah, hip fire is underappreciated by most. Every shot might not hit, but as long as you're close enough to get a few hits you'll almost always get the kill before your spray runs out. It was an epiphany to realize I didn't need to ADS with a SMG, and steady aim is way, way more useful than people realize. IMO with weapons like the Mac, if you have to ADS at all to kill them, you're too far. The typical AR or ak74 is vastly better at range. Get closer and spray, or hide. ADSing should be an act of desperation with a machine pistol. It's not that you can't, it's that you shouldn't.

Some loadouts just don't need to be ADS'ed (and I'm not just talking about those with SA); ADS'ing when you don't need to wastes valuable time.

Well, due to still hating death by cars and whatnot, I only play on Barebones - Pure. I normally work my way up to a 5-1 K/D ratio in a set and then back down to 1.5/1 for the rest of the evening. Still rocking the G11 but I have been changing up my secondary back to an RPG for some group killing goodness.

I've been playing a lot of Domination lately - tons of fun. My only complaint is having killstreaks carry over between rounds. A common strategy seems to be to sacrifice the first round in order to collect and horde your killstreaks. It's not uncommon to get an endless stream of choppers (including chooper gunners) beginning in the second round.

It's frustrating to be trying to plant/defuse while the rest of your team is camping.

u mean demolition.. domination is the a-b-c capture points.

All you people enjoying the mac11... why not try the spas-12? My best kdr is when using the shotgun, and it is my weapon of choice whenever I play CTF. It shoots fast and with the reload perk there is no downside aside from range, which you are already losing when using the mac11.

My win ratio is horrible since I play domination a lot with randoms. It goes up when I play with you guys though. I really need to work on that

Yeah, I am floating at like .85 win ratio because I go in alone so much. When I play with a couple friends, we go on 10-15 game win streaks and it raises and then I'll play solo and lose it.

My K/D has suffered as of late. I was up to 2:1, but dropped when I prestiged this last time and played a lot of Hardcore CTF. I run the flags (and die), while my friends stick back and play defense. They usually die once or twice.

I play alot of Merc TDM and it hurts me as well. If I didn't do that I'd probably be closer to 3.5:1 win ratio.

I've played with quite a few people who have insane k/d. I played with a 14th prestige that was 123rd in the world ( for all time ) on points per minute in domination. He had a 6:1 k/d and was just beastly. Sadly, he wasn't on my team. =(

I went 6:1 on domination tonight too. But my average sucks because I totally blew for the first 50 levels. I generally do 2:1 with sometimes spiking. I had my highest kills in one match tonight, went 52/26 playing domination. No chopper gunner or anything like that either, just shooting.
