Call Of Duty 2

Aside from the freaking amazing-looking graphics, the missions are no longer linear. The primary setting will be North Africa and you again play as the Russians, USA, and British.

I don't think I can post any pics without risk of getting sued 😉, but, from these in-game pics, it pwns BF2 sideways.

Other tidbits:

This game will include the invasion of Normandy as one campaign.
Stalingrad returns.
Comes out this Fall.

They've chosen some very interesting sounding missions form the North African campaign including leading a pack of jeeps decoyed as tanks as a diversion......the decoy works and the jeeps end up in a battle with German tanks. Another mission in Africa is a huge tank battle in which your less powerful American tank needs to close on the German tanks

....ugh...I was kinda hope'n that the good WWII games would end with Brothers in Arms. Oh well....atleast for me I was hope'n...I dont want to speak for anyone else though. I'll wait till everyone gets this one first. 😛

that was a great move. Bunny hopping is the bane of all FPS. Anything that removes bunny hopping is a good thing in my book.

Precisely.

Yaaaaay another game with a number at the end of the title. Geez man seems like PC gaming is in the doldrums these days. Where's the innovation?

Sequal<>lack of innovation

I thought there was a TON of innovation in HL2 when compared to HL1.

I can't wait for COD2, I loved COD1. I'll just add it to the list of games I am waiting for.

Sorry but you are wrong. There was nothing innovative about HL 2 that set it apart from other FPS games. In fact, except for the really smooth new Source engine, it was a step back from games that came before it. You can't even lean and peek around corners for cryin out loud! What did you think was so innovative about HL 2?

Call of Duty is one of my favorite games of all time. The sequel better live up to the legacy, or I'll start up the Bungie Boycott again!😛

I don't think that is the final release title.
