Bah, why waste the droid with that pos os?

I'm running bugless beast at 1.1ghz and sholes cooked 2.1 rom and don't think there's a better phone OS out there ATM.

For fun? I'm more interested just in seeing if I can do it. I see reports out there of people doing the opposite - loading Android on a Touch Pro, for instance - but not this way.

I'm not sure that any Windows Mobile phones use the processor in the Droid though - it seems WM went from the old Qualcomm 528MHz processor that's in the TP2 et al and went straight to Snapdragon. Also, older versions of WM didn't have native capacitive screen support...I believe that was added in 6.5.3 though.

I'm running SholesMod 2.0.5 on my Droid, also OC'd (I have it maxed at 1ghz though). Its nice and all, but I'm getting bored. Not including my stint last summer where I did trials with the Pre/Tour/TP2, I've had an Android phone (G1/Droid) since 10/08....that's forever in cell phone years!
