[thread may contain spoilers]

So I just started watching a few weeks ago, and ended up dl'ing all the episodes and catching up entirely. Why do people say it sucked after the first 2 episodes?? I think it's just as good throughout...

I mean come on, Lou dying a few seconds before he gets to see that woman he's wanted for decades? Great stuff

edit: I think a lot of guys can see themselves in Hank Moody's character, wanting to do the right thing, having one thing or one woman that you want to be with......but trying to deny it by plowing through as many girls (or whatever your vice is ) as possible.

That pisses me off SO bad. I think I'd actually berate the actress in real life.

The show is amazing. I watched the first episode and ended up watching season 1 all in 1 shot that same night, it was like a drug. Season 2 is definetely not as good as the first one, but it's still entertaining.

If I had to point out a few things that pissed me off like crazy in the show it would be:

1. Why didn't insurance cover his new stolen Porsche?

2. How the fuck did he let Mia lay claim to his book without doing anything about it?

Grrrr

I haven't been that big of a fan of this season. The whole season 1 was hilarious, but this season has continued to bring up stuff that isn't so funny. It's been a crash after the high of season 1 and the last few weeks episodes I haven't really laughed at all.

The only funny things that happened this season are when Hank assaulted the police officer after he went down on the wrong girl at Lou's house and all the stuff that Marcy did.

I don't know how long the season is going to be, but they better start making a comeback quick. I'd really like to see something happen to the chick who stole Hank's book, but that would open up a whole different angle by putting Hank in jail for statutory rape.

I'm not completely caught up on Season 2, but I still think about those two things nearly every time I watch the show.

1. Why is his old Porsche such a beater? He could have at least fixed it, since at one point in time he actually bought a new one.

2. Especially when other people familiar with his work should probably be able to tell it is his, or that there's no way she could have written that book.

Doesn't stop me from enjoying it, though. I think the show is hilarious even if extremely raunchy and juvenile.

Well in the last episode a lot of people actually believe that it's Hanks book, but he wants to keep everything under wraps because he is afraid of it coming out that he was the one that did Mia.

And I <3 Marcy on the show, she is a chick that you could do anything with and she would be cool with it, my dream woman :)

1. I think he just didn't give a fuck
2. If he didn't she'd accuse him of statutory rape. Also he'd probably lose karen and his daughter forever, even if mia was conniving.

1. Again, I think he just doesn't care.

2. She makes an excuse that she wrote 'in his style' or something.

ALso how has no one commented on this, in any thread on the series: His book, God Hates Us All was turned into a romantic comedy movie 'crazy little thing called love'. That cracks me up

He chose between his book and Karen, because Karen would never forgive him if he slept with Mia.

Also, Mia is quite the butterface .

At the wedding Mia denied having sex with him. After that he could of owned her, because her story would of been inconsistent. At least he could of went on some 50/50 deal with her, but I suppose he is filthy rich and doesn't care about new cars or profit? :D

Entourage and Californication are the only 2 shows I follow. I did like weeds but it went to shits.

Oh and there are some damn hot milfs on the show. If I was Hank I would have banged Lou's chick already.

Just watched the latest episode - I almost gave up on the show after the 2nd episode as I thought it had no chance of being anything decent. But after this last episode, I'm glad I went back to it.

I'd have sex with her, and punch her in the face while we're doing it.

Yeah, I really like this show. I wish they'd make more than 12 episodes a season though. Hank isn't quite as awesome this season as he was last season, but I'm still liking it. I'm looking forward to next season. Lew's death will probably make his book take off, Karen will probably come back sooner or later, and Runkle's life will apparently get more and more screwed up.

We don't really know if he died, he might of survived and been revived?

Did you not watch the last episode? If he "of survived" they probably wouldn't have done that scene with the memorial statue.

Yeah it was pretty short. If you weren't paying attention you could miss it. The episode started out with Hank daydreaming about talking to Lew, which implied that he was dead but wasn't definitive (he also appeared to be writing in Lew's house, and it's strange that he'd have access to the house after he had died). Later they had a scene with Hank and Mia at a memorial statue, and I think there was some dialog in there that made it pretty clear that he was dead. They really didn't spend much time on Lew in the last episode though, which is strange.

Thought so... my friend told me he watched it via that on a Friday before it aired. Although I am curious... if you guys can watch it like that, why doesn't someone rip it and put it on the web? There some sort of thing stopping it?

I'm kinda curious what they'll do in Season 3. Also, when hank was talkin' to burger boy, he so should've said, "now you know why I fucked your mom... guitar please."
