Of the new shows this season, this has by far been my favorite.

I've always really enjoyed David Duchovny as an actor, heck i'd likely say he's amongst my faves...love how his personality & humor breathe into all the shows/movies he does!

Anyway, he's the reason i looked at the show in the first place, & i've not been disappointed.
Okay, the promise of hawt [sometimes naked women] didn't hurt either, but there's a lot more to the show than that.

It's surprisingly better than I thought it would be...after the first 2 eps, I thought it was just another vapid Showtime drama with lots of tits and not a lot of substance...but go figure, I'm still watching.

It actually has some quick humorous jabs in it. The show is pretty nifty overall and when my friend suggested it to me, I kind of scoffed at it. "What do I care about some writer going from NYC to LA?" But it actually turned out to be pretty good.

Also, for people who are thinking about tuning in... next Monday is the last episode of the season, so you can start now and pretty much watch it in one fel swoop!

Black/Dark humor. Not "cream-pie in the face" or "ugly, dumb, fat guy with hot wife does stupid things and learns lessons" humor.

And yes, season finale is next

I just hope it's coming back for another season.
